Etching is a printmaking process that dates back 500 years. The etching process involves sheets of metal, usually made of copper and acid used to etch the print onto the metal. The artist can use complicated methods as drypoint technique to create different effect. The more complicated the etching, the more time consuming and expensive it will be.

Limited edition original 3pc copper-plate aquatint etching on Somerset 100% rag paper with metallic leafing. Hand finished by the artist with oil pigments, hand applied metallic foil, bronze paint, Prismacolor pencils, Sonnelier Fish oil pastels, and iridescent paints. Signed by the artist and numbered in the lower corners with gold ink.
